Welcome to the newest sensation in the Kingston area: orienteering! This exciting adventure sport will take you to places you've never been and show you places you know well - in a brand new light.

What is orienteering

Orienteering combines navigation through unfamiliar terrain solely relying on a map and compass - no GPS allowed! Whether you seek the tranquility of a leisurely outing or the adrenaline of competitive sport, orienteering offers an experience for all ages.

Spring Club Program

For the spring of 2024 we will be offering 4 nights of training in Kingston targeting newcomers and those who have joined us the past 2 years. As we evolve into more of an official club, we will be charging a fee for the events to offset the costs of our fantastic new maps.

Dates: Wednesday nights at 6:30 starting May 8 and finishing May 29. This will get extended if heavy rain cancels an evening.

*first session free if you haven’t been to any of our events the last 2 years

Youth under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.


Join us this August as Kingston plays host to three exhilarating races in North America's premier orienteering festival.

Spanning nine action-packed days, the festival kicks off north of Toronto, culminating on the slopes of Calabogie. From August 6th to 8th, the spotlight shines on Kingston as participants take on the challenges of orienteering amidst its urban landscapes.

Expect to witness the finest orienteers from across North America pushing their limits, alongside open classes welcoming adventurers of all levels.

Whether you're a seasoned competitor or new to the sport, our spring series will have you primed and eager to embrace the thrill of orienteering this summer.
